Seeing Things

In Seeing Things, your mission is to find those strange things. Each picture is like a small puzzle, both funny and makes you curious to explore more.

What is Seeing Things?

Seeing Things is a surveillance horror game that combines puzzle and hidden object elements. The gameplay is reminiscent of popular titles like The Exit 8 or Five Nights at Freddy's, but with a unique blend of horror and quirky details.

Learn to Observe Cameras

  • You will sit in front of a screen that displays live feeds from multiple surveillance cameras located in a specific area (e.g., museum, apartment, etc.).
  • Players can switch between different camera angles, usually by using buttons or arrow keys.
  • Your task is to carefully observe each camera frame to make sure everything is still normal.

Find the unusual

  • Anomalies will appear randomly in camera angles. They can appear, disappear, or move.
  • They may change in color, lighting, image glitches, altered pictures, or other visual effects.
  • A new object appears (e.g., a chair flips, a scary doll), or an existing object is deformed or moves abnormally. It may even be the appearance of strange characters or creatures like T. rex.
  • When you detect an anomaly, you must quickly take action to handle it by reporting it or switching the camera to reset the scene.

Try to survive the shift

In addition to finding the anomaly, you have another extremely important task: trying to survive your shift.

  • You must complete the surveillance task within a certain amount of time.
  • If you miss an anomaly for too long or handle it incorrectly, it can lead to failure or a scare, ending the game.

Seeing Things is a unique combination of the challenge of finding anomalies with the psychological tension of the survival horror genre. With hundreds of odd, creepy, and sometimes humorous details hidden behind each camera frame, the game has succeeded in creating a haunting yet captivating experience.

If you are a fan of challenges that require high concentration and nerves of steel to distinguish between the normal and the absurd, Seeing Things is definitely a game worth experiencing and exploring the mysteries behind the surveillance screen.
